What is Dog Days Sauna Co.?

Dog Days Sauna Co. offers a mobile, wood-fired sauna experience paired with optional cold-water immersion. Our goal is to create an invigorating experience outdoors, where sauna is best experienced.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing:

  • 1-2 towels (one small one for sitting on in the sauna and a second for drying off)

  • Water bottle

  • Comfortable athletic/swim clothing for the sauna

Are there any rules to be aware of?

  • Alcohol in the sauna or intoxication upon arrival are strictly prohibited for your own safety and the safety of others

  • No nudity. Please wear a bathing suit or workout clothes when in the sauna

  • Stay hydrated and exit the sauna immediately if you begin to feel dizzy or unwell

  • Shoes are not permitted in the sauna, for cleanliness and guest experience purposes

How long are the sessions?

Each session is 60 minutes long with 15 minutes in between to clean the sauna. We recommend rotating 2-3 times between 10-15 minute sauna sessions, relaxing in the fresh air, and quick dips in the cold water. But do whatever feels right for you!

Who should NOT use the sauna or cold plunge?

For safety, individuals with certain medical conditions should avoid sauna or cold-water immersion, including: heart disease, high or low blood pressure, respiratory conditions, epilepsy, diabetes, pregnancy, recent illness, intoxication, or any condition that could be worsened by heat or cold extremes.
If unsure, consult your healthcare provider.

Are children allowed?

Participants must be 18 or older.

Is cold-water immersion required?

Absolutely not! Do whatever feels right for you.

What is your weather policy?

We are operating rain, snow, or shine! We will only cancel sessions in the event of lightning and will provide full reimbursement. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any question or are uncertain about the status of the sauna that day: dogdayssauna@gmail.com
